Ulmus glabra were collected from three different trees in three different regions. There was significant difference between trees and regions. The Best condition for seed germination was culturing stratificated seed on Peter dishes containing sterile sand covered with a layer of wathman paper in 30°C. In spite of other investigators result, these seeds tolerated different storage conditions for more than a year. Sorbus torminalis ، were collected from Gillan and Mazandaran provinces and from 3 different trees . the best condition for germination of these seeds was culturing them on sterile sand in -1 to +1°C after moist chilling for 16 weeks. The viability of these seeds declined slightly under different storage conditions. Non of Taxus baccata seeds germinated. Tetrazolium test showed no loss of viability after 2 years of storage under different storage conditions.
