Sunflower plant as spring crop in irrigated and rainfed conditions in Iran for many years. Studies showed that sunflower can plant in fall in rotation with cereals in warm dryland areasas. In other hand there is restriction in number of crops grown in drylands of Iran so, we need to enter new crops in rotation with cereals in drylands to have stable wheat production. In present study 12 new sunflower varieties/hybrids along with Armaviresky and Azargol as checks were evaluated in RCBC with 4 replications in Zaitun Research Station in Sarpol-e-Zahab. Morphological and agronomic triats were recorded during growth period then seed weight and yield were calculated after harvesting. The results of analysis of variance showed that difference between varieties/hybrids were significant for all traits except 1000 seed weight and head diameter. Means comparison showed that Megasun hybrid with 1647 Kg/ha had the highest seed yield and was in same class with 7 other genotypes. The lowest seed yield was belonged to K-33 with 625.3 Kg/ha that was in same class with 9 other genotypes. Correlation study showed that the highest positive correlation was between No. of days to flowering and maturity (0.988). There was significant correlation among No. of days to flowering and maturity with seed yield.
