The purpose of this study is to clarify and evaluate the psychological causes and effects related to the location of foreign companies in China. To cluster these companies, to increase visibility in specific areas and to maintain their good reputation for acquiring popularity and the choice of location foreign companies is essential. This analysis is mainly based on SEM (structural equation models) using the data obtained from postal questionnaires on the degree of satisfaction on several factors for Japanese companies. As a result, we propose that the three factors (region, capital, economics) can explain location evaluation ; most importantly, the satisfaction for selection of location related with these three factors will be clearly indicated. Using the degree of satisfaction for company employees as a basis, location evaluation is enhanced, and the location of FDI can be addressed.
