Use of quantitative methods in the analyses of project management descriptions | Kvantitatīvo metožu pielietojums projektu vadības aprakstu analīzē

The article deals with the pilot research conducted with the aim to establish if it is possible to use qualitative research methods in the research of project management. In the pilot research mainly the publicly available Internet sources were used and the approximate number of the publicly available sources was determined. As a result of the pilot research it was found that the use of the qualitative research methods was possible in the research of project management to find distinction between the documents. Results of the applied qualitative methods are not to be interpreted unanimously and additional use of other types of project management documents and research methods, for example, project documentation and quantitative methods.
