Zooplankton, that placed in food chain base as well as fish that live by it, depend on temperature fluctuations. Increases of river water temperature and increased algal blooming, including toxic phytoplankton in a development that is harmful to all hydrobionts, and zooplankton. On current trends, climate change, the Daugava at Daugavpils is expected to be more frequent cyanobacterial mass loss. Taking account of climate models for changes of meteorological and hydrological characteristics, can be predicted a significant influx of sediments and biogenic structure increase in the lower stages of hydrographic network. Overall, these processes have a negative impact on aquatic ecosystems, and climate change in the context of the negative impact will tend to get worse. Assess the environmental condition of the Daugava dynamics can, through systematic analysis of the hydrobionts’ cenoses structure.
