The sheep farms are located near the Landscape Parks with extensive pastures grazed by sheep. Blood and wool for analysis were collected from these flocks a the turn of May and June 2005 from random adult ewes. The wool samples were taken from the sheep sides. In each flock the blood and fleece samples were collected from 10 animals. Sera were obtained after blood centrifugation at 3000 rot/min for 15 minutes. Summing up, it should be stated that macro- and microelements contents obtained in the studies are found within the physiological standards. At the same time there was observed a low content of heavy metals: cadmium and lead. The studies confirm the appropriate maintenance conditions of Swiniarka sheep kept in the sheep houses investigated. The obtained results prove the cleanness of the natural environment in the studied regions of the Swiniarka sheep breeding
