Production of celullolytic and lignolytic enzymes by Trametes versicolor in culture medium amended with differently shreds cereal straws

The studies were performed with the strain of fungus Trametes versicolor obtained from University of Alexandria culture collection. This strain was cultivated in medium amended with 1 percent of lignocelluloses at 25 deg C by 30 days. Cultures were shaken or grown stationary. As the sources of lignin and cellulose the chopped or grounded cereal straws were applied. The lignolytic and cellulolytic activity were measured after 10, 20, 30 days of incubation
