The objective of this study was preliminary estimation of the chemical composition of soil ground waters from fields under intensive fertilization with fluid mineral fertilizers alone. Dosages of nutrient were: NPK from 270 to 320 (winter wheat), from 350 to 400 (winter rape), and from 300 to 350 kg/ha (maize). The water samples were taken in spring and autumn. The leels of nitrates determined in the spring were notably higher than the content of those ions found in the autumn analyses. Noteworthy is the exeptionally low content of phosphates. The content levels of the other cations and anions analysed fell within the range of permisible values for drinking and household water
