The presented work deals with the problems of maintenance which appear on the sluices with segment gates built on the Danube-Tisa-Danube Hydro System. The objects of investigation were three sluices in Banat - Stajicevo, Tomasevac, and Novi Becej. The main problem of their maintenance has been the emergence of very strong vibrations of the segment gates in the sluices Stajicevo and Tomasevac. Author did the test and the base measuring of intensity of vibrations on the representative structure of sluice Tomasevac. The measuring analysis has given the deformation forms of the middle segment gate of the sluice Tomasevac for the first two models. On the basis of those data and the experience of everyday work the new model of the maintenance was composed. The suggested maintenance model of the sluices with segment gates is the model of condition - based maintenance.
