The nematofauna of 588 speciments of bank vole (Cleothrionomys glareolus) from the area of Fruska Gora mountain was analysed. Host samples were collected for eight sites during the period of 1977-1983. Nine nematoda species (2 classes, 2 subclasses, 4 orders, 6 families, 7 genus) were recorded: Capillaria murissylvatici, Trichocephalus=Trichuris muris, Heligmosomoides glareoli, H. polygirus, Heligmosomum mixtum, Aspiculuris tetraptera, Syphacia petrusewiczi, S. stroma, and Rictularia proni. Bank vole is a new host for all recorded species in Serbia. Heligmosomoides glareoli, Heligmosomum mixtum and Syphacia petrusewiczi, were recorded in Serbia for the first time. For the species Rictularia proni, bank vole is a new host in Europe. There was no evidence for sex bias in infections, but there were age effects in this data-species richness increased with age. Some seasonal and annual changes of quantity and quality of host nematofauna were evident.
