The increase of area occupied by rapeseed in Serbia also requires an increase of seed production. The problems of seed quality after treatment and various storage durations become even more current with newly adopted regulations and legal acts. The aim of this work was to evaluate the influence of insecticide and fungicide treatments, as well as of storage duration on rapeseed seed germination. Seeds of Banacanka, a winter rapeseed variety were treated with commonly used fungicides and insecticides. Germination was tested on filter paper and on a mixture of perlite and sand 3, 6 and 9 months of storage after the treatment. The obtained results indicate the existence of significant differences between treatments, as well as between various storage durations.
