Recombinant toxin ApxIV A. pleuropneumoniae was obtained by the method of molecular cloning and expression in Escherichia coli. Indirect ELISA for detection of A. pleuropneumoniae antibodies in blood sera samples from pigs was developed on the basis of recombinant antigen. It was found that specificity and sensitivity of the developed test against IDEXX CHEKIT APP-ApxIV commercial test (IDEXX, USA) is 100 and 95,7%, respectively. The monitoring of actinobacillosis infection was conducted in 55 premises of 24 Regions of the Russian Federation, A.pleuropneumoniae infected and free premises were identified. It is concluded that the domestic test system of ELISA based on recombinant toxin ApxIV A. pleuropneumoniae is a perspective serous diagnostic of porcine actinobacillosis pleuropneumonia and is efficiently competitive with the diagnostic kit IDEXX CHEKIT APP-ApxIV
