The aim of this study was to analyse histological changes of rabbit kidney tissue after exposure to high ambient temperature. Animals of the experiment were exposed to 34 plus-minus 1 deg C (experimental group – p, n=15). Animals of control group were kept in optimal temperature 18-22 deg C (k, n=16). After 30 days all animals were killed. High ambient temperature markedly influenced kidney structure of young animals. Lower diameters of kidney corpuscles in experimental group of young animals (87.33 MUm) were registrated. Difference diameter of glomeruli in control group and all experimental group has been significance p less than 0,05 in adult group p less than 0.001 in group with young animals. Height of tubules epithelium has been significantly lower (p less than 0.05) in experimental groups versus control group (young animals without hyperthermia condition). Diameter of kidney tubuli has been significantly lower (p less than 0.001) in experimental young animals when compared with control group. Results of this experiment confirmed that high ambient temperature 34 plus-minus 1 deg C had expressive effect on histological structure of the kidney tissue of young rabbit. Markedly affected is mainly structure of nephrotic system which resulted in eventual nephrotic dysfunction as ultimate process of urea secretion failured.
