The aim of this work was to estimate the genetics gain, increase of inbreeding and generation interval in selected herds of the Slovak spotted breed. The genetics gain for milk production in kg was calculated by different methods. After fixation of gene portion in individual groups of age classes in genetics the gain was between 101.13-139.44 kg for milk production. Average age of daughters mothers when their offspring were born was 5.28-4.26-3.82 year. The selection portion of male candidates was from 0.055-0.23 at fathers of daughters and 0.6-0.61 at mothers of daughters. Increase of inbreeding was estimated at 0.867-1.098-1.987% for a generation. Prediction of the genetics gain by Truncation selection was 14.23 to 113.59 kg for milk at fathers of daughters and 31.23 to 98.11 kg milk for mothers of daughters. Average age of parents when their offspring was born by Truncation selection was in range 3.71-4.48 years.
