Concentracion variations of ammonia (NH3) and greenhouse gases (CO2, N2O, CH4, H2o) and their dependence on the specific properties of the litter were investigated in poultry house with capacity of 25,000 broiler chickens. Emissions were calculated on the basis of air volume released from the building through measure fans. Increasing of inside litter temperature (26.7-34.5 deg C), litter moisture content (37-52%), proteolysis level (5.7-28.1%) and pH values (6.1-7.4) were reasons of increased ammonia concentracions and emissions during fattening period. Values of other gases were the greatest during the first ten days and were not influenced by the age of litter.
