Plant protection against diseases, pests and weeds in organic citrus farming in the East Mediterranean Region | Doğu Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde organik turunçgil üretiminde hastalık, zararlı ve yabancı otların mücadelesinin yönetimi

إنجليزي. It is known that the population movement of the Floridae wax scale (Homoptera.: Coccidae) was increased in citrus orchards recently in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The determination of Ceroplastes species, whether or not the presence of C. japonicus recored epidemic pest in the Mediterrean countries, population dynamics and relationship between Ceroplastes species and their natural enemies were needed to research again in the Eastern Mediterranean Region. For this reason, survey was carried out in citrus orchards and non-cultivated areas in the provinces of (Adana, Mersin, Osmaniye and Hatay) the Eastern Mediterranean region and distribution of Ceroplastes spp. and host their plants were determined in this region. As a result of the surveys, varieties of citrus were found as infected with Ceroplastes spp. at a rate of 36 %. 24 plant species were recorded as the host of Ceroplastes spp. However, population movement and natural enemies of the pest were determined in three citrus orchards infected with Ceroplastes spp. It was found that C. floridensis and C. rusci have a two generations per year. Accordingly, the parasitisation rate detated as low in the region.

اللغة التركية. Doğu Akdeniz Bölgesi turunçgil bahçelerinde son yıllarda Yıldız koşnili (Ceroplastes spp.) popülasyonunda bir artış olduğu bilinmektedir. Doğu Akdeniz Bölgesi'ndeki Ceroplastes türlerinin yeniden gözden geçirilmesi ve Akdeniz ülkelerinde salgın yaptığı kaydedilen Ceroplastes japonicus'un bu bölgede bulunup bulunmadığının belirlenmesi, popülasyon seyrindeki değişikliğin ve zararlının doğal düşmanlarıyla ilişkilerinin yeniden incelenmesi bu çalışmada amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, Doğu Akdeniz Bölgesi'nde (Adana, Mersin, Osmaniye ve Hatay) turunçgil tarımı yapılan alanlar ile tarım dışı alanlarda sürvey çalışması yapılmış ve Ceroplastes spp.'nin yayılış alanı ve bölgedeki konukçuları tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan sürveyler sonucu bölgede turunçgil çeşitlerinin % 36 oranında Ceroplastes spp. ile bulaşık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ceroplastes spp'ye yirmi dört adet bitki türünün konukçuluk yaptığı belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, zararlı ile yoğun bulaşık olan üç bahçede zararlının popülasyonu ve doğal düşmanlarının takibi ve etkinliği de belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma ile Ceroplastes floridensis ve C. rusci'nin yılda iki döl verdiği tespit edilmiştir. Parazitlenme oranı genel olarak düşük belirlenmiştir.
