A research on the applicability of some quality safety systems in dried and fresh fig production, domestic and foreign marketing in Turkey | Türkiye kuru ve taze incir üretim, iç ve dış pazarlamasında bazı kalite güvence sistemlerinin uygulanabilirliği üzerine bir araştırma

In this study, the producers, merchants, wholesalers, managers of whole markets, dried and fresh fig processors and exporters who are present in conventional and organic dried fig and conventional and EUREPGAP certification production systems in Turkey have been evaluated and compared with respect to some economic criteria. In addition, factors affecting adoption of organic agriculture system by dried fig producers and EUREPGAP certification systems by fresh fig producers were determined. Besides, factors affecting adoption of some quality safety systems like HACCP, ISO, organic, EUREPGAP by dried and fresh fig processors and exporters were evaluated. Eventually, although it seems as negative events that dried and fresh fig producers have had the fig orchards which they are occured from small size and lots of parcels, are planted slope and mountainous areas, it is determined that those quality and safety systems could be used easily, because it has been used less chemical inputs and other some important factors compared other agricultural products in fresh and dried fig production and marketing systems.

Bu çalışmada, konvansiyonel ve organik olarak üretilen kuru incir ile konvansiyonel ve EUREPGAP sertifikalı olarak üretilen taze incir üretim sisteminde yer alan; üreticiler, tüccarlar, toptancılar, Haller, paketleme tesisleri ve ihracat yapan firmalar karşılaştırmalı olarak analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca kuru incir üreticilerinin organik, taze incir üreticilerinin EUREPGAP kalite güvence sistemini benimsemelerine etki eden faktörler belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, paketleme tesisi ve kuru incir ihracatı yapan firmalar ile taze incir ihracatı yapan firmaların HACCP, EUREPGAP, organik tarım sistemi gibi önemli kalite güvence sistemlerini benimsemelerinde etkili olan faktörler tespit edilmiştir. Son olarak, kuru ve taze incir üreticilerinin çok parçalı ve küçük incir arazilerine sahip olmaları ve bu arazilerin büyük oranda dağlık alanlarda bulunması bir olumsuzluk olarak görünmesine rağmen, kuru ve taze incir üretim ve pazarlama sisteminde, diğer tarımsal ürünlere göre daha az kimyasal girdi kullanılması ve diğer bazı önemli faktörlerin söz konusu sistemlerin uygulanabilirlik olasılıklarını arttırdığı tespit edilmiştir.
