The experiment has been carried out during 2006-2009 in training and experimental field of Department of Crop production in Agricultural University – Plovdiv. The survey used triticale variety Rakita. The crude protein content was determined from representative samples of grain through the determination of the total Kjeldahl nitrogen х 5,75. The amino acids content in grain of triticale was determined after hydrolysis of samples with 6 n HCl with amino-analytic mashine type AAA881. It was found out that protein content in grain of triticale increase with increasing nitrogen rate. The most amino acids content was established at 120 kg.ha-1 nitrogen fertilizing. This optimum was for both essential and other proteinogenic amino acids. Fertilizer rate more than 120 kg.ha-1 leads to reducing amino acid content due to the increasing of non-protein nitrogen at the highest fertilization rate of 180 kg.ha-1.
