Alkaloids from autumn crocus corms and seeds used in numerous medicines, plant and veterinary breeding are still obtained mainly by plants from natural sources. Corms from two different grasslands were collected, identified and planted in experimental field. During spring in vegetative season leaf fertilizer Lаctophol was applied. Fertilizer significantly influenced p0.005 both corm yield production and morphological characteristics such as a leaf number, corm weight and leaf area. Flowering and vegetation with fruit produce are also discussed. Such agricultural investigations for domestication of autumn crocus plants in Bulgaria was showed for the first time because of the high interest of pharmaceutical industry as a raw materials of drugs and preparations for human and veterinary medicine and plant growing.
