Field experiments were conducted at the Plant Protection Institute to study the reproduction of Sinapis arvensis L. under various densities and nitrogen levels of fertilization. The treatments consisted of five S. arvensis L. densities 1; 5; 10; 15; 20 plants m2 and three nitrogen levels 0 ; 200; 300 kg N ha-1. Measurement data on S. arvensis included: height, dry weight, number of seeds and seeds weight per plant at maturity. The effect on S. arvensis L. reproduction was established. An increase in weed density leads to a decrease in height, dry weight, seeds number and weight per plant. The level of nitrogen application is an important factor in determining S. arvensis L. seeds production, but its influence varies as a function of weed density. Under all densities of weed plants the increase in nitrogen levels to 200 kg N ha-1 and 300 kg N ha-1 resulted in an increase in reproductive abilities of the Sinapis arvensis, due to its high biomass production. The relationship between S. arvensis L. density and different nitrogen levels on reproduction was largely dependent on weed density, nitrogen levels and intraspecific competition. The coefficients of determination R2 were very high, ranging from 0,94 to 0,99. Regression analysis of the data showed that S. arvensis L. reproduction was linearly affected by weed densities and nitrogen levels. Regression models may have practical applications by predicting reproduction of S. arvensis L. at different densities and nitrogen levels of application.
