During the 2007-2009 period have been tested the apricot cultivars Aurora, Harcot, Bebecou, Martini and Pella grafted on the seed apricot rootstock of Stella cultivar aimed growing in the conditions of North-eastern Bulgaria. Hungarian best cultivar is used for a standard. The experimental plantation was established in the spring of 2003 at 6,0 x 5,0 m planting distance 333 plants/ha. There are twenty tees of each cultivar, formed as free half-tabulate crowns and growth under non-irrigated conditions. The soil type is leached chernozem and the soil surface is kept as black fallow. The experimental plantation grows under a program of IPM applying fungicides and insecticides in biological contents, pheromone traps and pheromone dispensers. The growth and reproductive indexes of the trees are studied: circuit of the trunk cm, height of the crown cm, average diameter of the crown cm, volume of the crown cm, sum of all year growth cm and yield of the trees kg. It was found that the Harcot, Aurora, Bebecou, Martini and Pella cultivars are able to be cultivate and yield successfully under the North-eastern Bulgaria climate conditions. The biggest growth vigour belongs to Harcot cultivar. Under the same cultivate conditions Pella and Bebecou cultivars showed the lowest growth vigour. Pella cultivar had the biggest fruits 73 g and Martini cultivar produced comparatively low yield and the smallest fruits.
