The soils are vulnerable to common disintegration by contamination, extraction or destruction that is often meted in opencast coal mining. Some soils are more vulnerable to specific impacts that can change their characteristics. These changes include: congestion losing of structure and draining modification; changes of water levels impacting of chemical and biological processes; changes of soil and geological formations which often increased or decreased underground water infiltration; possibilities of erosion and soil subside. The object of recent work is evaluation of impact of soils and following recultivation in opencast coal mining. A great diversity of waste dumps in opencast coal mining required differing approach with resoil and the options of reclaim types. A Maritsa Iztok sites are studied where a forest and agricultural reclaim activities are carried out. It is suggested the use of remote study methods.
