The process of the intensive development of society promotes the public wealth, which makes up the notion of the so-called public health. The role of public capital in the development of wealth and political freedom is like the quality of soil in the development of seeds. It is obvious, that the thriving of democracy and free enterprise economy is ensured by the presence of good public capital. Exhausted public capital produces the corresponding results. Problem of calculation of the social capital was studied in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus by different research methods: abstractive, logical, economical, and statistical. Three total views of social capital were analyzed in the study. There were conception of Putman, conception of Coleman and North's and Olson's conception. The reproduction of the total social capital as a complex of all capitals, which took part in business life without taking individual capital is analyzed. Different countries used various methods for measuring of gross domestic products (GDP): comparison of different time periods and contrast between countries. Formula for calculation of social capital was presented. Statistical data of the capital assets (property assets) over the branches of economics; population financial income; profits of enterprises and organizations in different economy branches; total social capital of the Republic of Belarus; consumer price index were presented. There was analyzed the gross domestic product in Belarus; human capital assets; income produced; natural capital and capital of society of the Republic. Research results showed, that gross domestic products depended on the total social capital. In 2007 the social capital was 5 times lower than in 1990, that was caused by differences in salary and earning capacity of enterprises
