Результаты обработки корнеплодов сахарной свеклы жидким консервантом

Searching for the optimal special equipment for the mechanized treatment of sugar beet (Beta vulgaris) roots with liquid conservant during roots lifting directly at a beet combine was realized in the conditions f the Republic of Belarus. The suggested equipment was mounted on self-propelled sugar beet combine Kleine SF 10-2, and consisted of solution dosing module MDR — 3,5 and experimental sample of inoculation chamber. Results of the experimental treatment of beet roots by biological preparation with the help of the presented equipment were stated. Efficiency of sugar beet roots treatment depended on the treatment terms. The following efficiency indexes were taken into account: extension and development of clamp rot of beet (Phoma betae, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium); injuriousness; biological efficiency; economic effectiveness. Research results showed that the best terms of treatment were at the lifting period which caused the biological efficiency of 27,6% at the level of economic efficiency of 5,13%. Treatment before implanting into beet piles was less efficient and resulted the biological efficiency of 2,4%, and economic efficiency of 0,17%
