Determination of the efficiency of the farming methods for red cover (Trifolium pratense) of Ustojlivy varity seed pretreatment with the coating polymeric preparation of polyvinyl acetate scattering containing fungicides in combination with the ammonium molybdenum trace element which provided the increasing of the nitrogen-fixing capacity of legume bacterium was realized in crop rotation cultivated on sod-podzolic light loamy soils was realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. Seed treatment with ammonium molybdenum exercised the highest influence on red clover development indices. Due to the intensification of symbiotic interaction and improvement of nitrogenous nutrition the rendered treatment made it possible to increase yield of red clover herbage and dry matter in the first year of cultivation by 15% and in course of three year cultivation – by 11%. Presowing treatment promoted better plant viability. Higher planting density exercised positive influence on increasing of carrying capacity of grass stands in course of three-year use
