Results of studies of the peculiar features of the dynamics of yield increase of green mass, herbage and dry matter content by sweet sorghum (Sorghum saccharatum) of Zersil variety, sorghum and Sudan grass (Sorghium vulgare) hybrid Pochin 80, Sudan grass (Sorghum sudanense) and millet (Panicum) of Galinka variety cultivated in the conditions of the central region of the Republic of Belarus were presented. Research results showed that the studied sorghum cultures formed the herbage yields up to 451-657 c/ha, dry matter content – 131-138 c/ha; millet crops – 316 c/ha and 66,7 c/ha, respectively. The highest intensity of green mass increase was observed in the following conditions: for millet crops – in 35-45 days after sprouting stage; for sorghum cultures – in ten days later, that corresponded to the phase of stem elongation stage. The main yield of dry matter was stated in the following conditions: for sorghum cultures (more than 50%) in course of the last 40-45 days of vegetation; for millet cultures (more than 80%) – in course of 20-25 before harvesting. In the green conveyor system for the prolongation of the period of green feeds production it was possible to use the double-cutting system of the studied crops
