Results of studying the biological efficiency of new herbicide Tapir (aquatic concentrate, 0,5-1,0 l/ha) in soybean (Glycine max) crops cultivated in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus were presented. Research results (2008) proved that Tapir proved to be the effective herbicide in soybean control against annual and some perennial dicotyledon plants, as well as against annual cereal weeds (frost-blite (Chenopodium album), starwort (Stellaria), black bindweed (Polygonum convolvulus), lady's-purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris), mayweed (Matricaria inodora), catchweed bedstraw (Galium aparine), field pansy (Viola arvensis), lamb's-tongue (Mentha arvensis), field sow thistle (Sonchus arvensis). It was determined that number of all annual weeds (without taking into account frost-blite weeds) at the stage of primordial leaves after Tapir application decreased up to 53,5-83,3%, the vegetative mass decreased up to 68,0-93,2%. Average soybean yield after the pregerminating application was 8,5-12,0 c/ha, after the post-germination application – 6,5-10,90 c/ha (in the conditions of 4,3 c/ha in the control variant). The preserved yield was 2,2-7,8 c/ha
