For the specification of the species composition of pathogenic agents, extension of plants diseases and their development in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized the phytopathological inspection of seed sowings of perennial cereal grasses (timothy grass (Phleum pratense), red darnel (Lolium perenne), awnless brome (Bromus inermis Leyss), meadow fescue grass (Festuca pratensis), cock's-foot (Dactylis glomerata), meadow foxtail (Alopecurus pratensis), reed canary grass (Digraphis arundinacea)). In course the research years (2006-2008) the extension of fungal diseases (Helminthosporium blight, Heterosporium disease, brown stripe of grasses (Scolecotrichum graminis), powdery mildew (Erysiphe graminis), Ascochyta blight, Rhynchosporium scaldi, and rust) on the seed plants of perennial cereal grasses varied from 0,0 to 64,2%. There was stated the depressive mid-potency development of fungal diseases (from 0,0 to 36,0%). More severe damage of old sowings by fungal diseases in comparison with sowings of 1-2-year use testified to the accumulation of infection in the agrocenoses of perennial cereal grasses
