As a result of conducted researches in conditions of basal pedigree enterprises that rear pigs of Belarusian white-and-black breed, it was determined that combination of Duroc breed with Belarusian white-and-black breed lets us get the greatest heterosis effect on self productivity of pedigree boars. Prospective direction in selection for Belarusian white-and-black breed meatiness increase is usage of Pietren breed that points out correlation and variability of basic husbandry-pedigree traits of pedigree boars of second generation
