The influence of Catosal (Bayer HealthCare AG; Germany) ([1-(butylamino)-1-methylethyl]-phosphonic acid) on meat productivity and formation of muscular tissue of broiler chickens of Cobb-500 cross was studied in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. In course if study there were used 2 groups of broiler chickens with 9000 heads in each. Experimental group of chickens was administrated Catosal with water at the critical phase (2-5 days) in dose of 1,0 ml/liter. Research results showed that Catosal application made it possible to increase live weight of broiler chickens in 47,4 times. Daily average weight gain increased at all age periods. Application of catosal stimulated the growth of pectoral and foot muscles. By the end of growing period the weight of pectoral muscles of experimental group exceeded the control group on 23,9%, and foot muscles – on 24,7%, respectively. The obtained data proved efficiency of application of Catosal in poultry breeding for building-up muscles weight of broiler-chickens
