Control of grey mould can be very difficult, particularly when weather conditions are favourable for B. cinerea during ripening. Control strategies have been experimented during ten years in the French part of Switzerland with the mixture fludioxonil + cyprodinil. One single application at the end of bloom reaches an average value over the years of 30 % efficacy compared with unsprayed plots. A single application at bunch closure reaches 52 % efficacy, and a single spray at véraison 56 %. When both sprays were applied, the efficacy was improved, particularly in years with high disease pressure. However the difference of 10 to 15 % was not statistically significant. The results varied considerably from year to year depending on the climatic conditions and on the disease pressure.
