2009
Karpej, O.N., Brest Regional Agricultural Experimental Station (Belarus)
The data of two-year research on the revealing of productivity of grass mixtures on the basis of bird's-foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus) in the conditions of soils with light granulometric composition are presented. The field tests were spent on sod-podzolic pithy sabulous soil, underlying from 0,3-0,4 m with pithy glaciofluvial sands. Agro chemical performance of plowing layer: pHKCL – 6,0, humus content – 2,2%, P2O5 – 247 mg/kg and K2O 197 mg/kg of soil, boron – 1,43, cuprum – 7,5 mg/kg of soil. Annual dose of phosphorous and potassium fertilizers at sowing for fodder P60K150 (P60K90 – under the first cut tor hay and K90 – under the second one). According to the research results, grass mixtures with birds-foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus) and red clover (Trifolium pratense) (450,9 c/ha and 98,2 c/ha) as well as with bird-foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus) and meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis) (353,7 c/ha and 76,2 c/ha) were the best by productivity of green material and dry matter.
