In the conditions of fuel and energy resources deficit, their effective utilization becomes very actual problem. Special attention is paid to the problem of resource saving by low-potential heat utilization with the aim of traditional fuel and energy resources substitution. Therefore, the heat pump installations, able to transform low-potential environmental heat into the high temperature, become wide spread. Economic efficiency of heat pump installations' utilization depends on fuel's cost and electricity charge. The procedure of calculation and analysis of power efficiency while using the heat pump installations in heat supply systems is suggested. Coefficient of transformation of the heat pumps is calculated. The degree of cycle's efficiency is evaluated for temperature of halocarbon's evaporation = 288K. Graphs of temperature changings in condenser and evaporator are displayed. Principal scheme of heat pump installation's utilization in the system of hot water supply system is presented. Calculation of energetic efficiency of heat pump installation's use is made. On the basis of the offered technique, the calculation and analysis of power efficiency is given for the heat pump system usage in hot-water transmission lines.
