In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed the importance and value of raspberry (Rubus idaeus) as one of the most popular and widespread plants in small fruit growing. Until recently the part of raspberry in commercial plantings for small fruit growing was not more than 1% in the all types of farms. The special raspberry features subjected to studied technological elements were described. The situation of raspberry growing in Belarus was considered. There was presented the description of technology of raspberry growing, including autumn raspberry. The main features of cultivars acceptable for commercial purposes and factors which are restraining raspberry fruit production (high labour-intensiveness and lack of cultivars) are described. The means of raspberry growing acceptable for Belarus after improvement and study were considered. There were determined the technological elements which need further investigation for improvement (extra-root fertilization, mulching).
