In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized an estimation of engineering status of details of cylinder-piston group of diesel engines in the conditions of ordinary operation by means of diagnosing with the help of pneumatic calibrator. There were shown the methods of diagnosing, which help to determine the deterioration of case, rings, piston grooves and elasticity of compression rings, to forecast their resources and to find the final moment of their exploitation operation. There were determined the main parameters of diagnosing process and based criteria of terminal deterioration of cylinder-piston group of diesel engine.
