Efficiency of a herbicide Lazurit Super in winter grain crops in Belarus | Эффективность гербицида лазурит супер в посевах озимых зерновых культур в Беларуси

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was analyzed the biological efficiency of a herbicide Lazurit Super NEC (metribuzin, 270 ml/l) in winter grain crops (wheat (Triticum aestivum) and triticale) after its autumn and spring application. On the basis of the obtained results it was determined that the herbicide applied in winter grain crops in autumn and early spring at tillering stage at the rate of 0.28-0.56 l/ha proved to be efficient against annual dicotyledonous and grass weeds: corn mayweed (Matricaria inodora); hemp-nettle (Galeopsis tetrahit); silky bentgrass (Apera spica-venti L), etc. It was marked that Lazurit Super, just like other metribuzin-containing herbicides was not enough efficient against couch grass (Agropyron repens), cleavers (Gallum aparine), sow thistle and Artemisia species. In this case it was advised to use tank mixtures of herbicide Lazurit Super with herbicides of a sulphonylurea group (for example, Magnum, water dispersable granules).
