In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were studied factors which promoted the occurrence of cattle trichophytia, as well as developed a complex of veterinary and sanitary control and treatment measures against this disease. There was analyzed the economic efficiency of the realized activities. In course of the research there were studied the causes and sources of disease occurrence at cattle breeding farms; measures of preventive treatment of the disease; complexes of veterinary hygiene, organizational, bacteriological, mycological, serological, and biochemical methods and antifungal therapy. There were given veterinary and sanitary measures for prevention of carrying of infection and incidence of dermatomycosis. It was shown, that observance of the technology at farms, balanced feeding, maintenance and looking after farm animals according to health regulations, strict fulfillment of veterinary sanitary regulations, prophylactic immunization of livestock against trichophytosis provided effective protection of calves against dermatophytosis.
