Annual grain producing in the Republic of Belarus makes 9 million tones in bunker weight. Storage and safety of the harvest is the important problem for agricultural producers. Therefore, post-harvest treatment of the grain (preliminary cleaning, drying and principal cleaning) becomes essential task. Classification of pneumatic grain drying systems is presented; analysis of the main virtues and shortcomings of different pneumatic systems is made. Pneumatic grain drying systems are divided according the: interrelation of air with material (horizontal, vertical, inclined); air input method (inhausting air stream, discharging air stream, inhausting- discharging air stream); system of air circulation (closed-loop, unlocked, closed-unlocked system). All the types are compared and evaluated. Analysis shows that every grain drying pneumatic system possesses definite facilities and shortcomings and requires determinant modernization based on efficiency of pneumatic separation.
