الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. El uso de árboles y arbustos forrajeros en la alimentación de monogástricos esta limitada por el alto contenido de fibras de este tipo de material. La presencia de factores antinutricionales es un elemento adicional a tener en cuenta ya que ejercen un efecto negativo en el aprovechamiento digestivo de la dieta. Aun así existe una gran diversidad y disponibilidad de este tipo de alimento por lo que su uso en la dieta para cerdos debe ser estudiado a profundidad. Existen diferentes métodos para evaluar una fuente forrajera. Las pruebas de digestibilidad son métodos que con suficiente precisión permiten conocer el valor nutricional de una fuente de alimento. En esta breve reseña se recogen datos sobre pruebas de digestibilidad in Vitro e in vivo, así como características de algunos follajes con potencialidades para su uso en la alimentación del cerdo.

It is important take into account the negative effect of the antinutritional factors presence on the diet digestive use. However it is a wide diversity and availability of this food, what means its use in the pig diet should be studied deeply. Different methods exist to evaluate a foliage source. The digestibilities tests allow determine the nutritional value with enough precision. This brief review refers data on digestibility tests in vitro and in vivo, as well as the characteristic of some foliages with potentialities for their use in the pig feeding
