Thirty-six Avileña-Negra Iberica breed cows were given from January to June to the three following treatments (12 cattle per treatment): grazing on non fertilized pasture (GNF), grazing on fertilized pasture with 144 kg/hc of phosphoric rock (GFR) and grazing on fertilized pasture with 200 kg/hc of calcium superphosphate of 18% (GFS). The milk from GNF cows had higher C18:0, total saturated fatty acids (SFA) and lower total monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) than those from GFR and GFS cows. Exclusive grazing without feed supplementation (April and May) increased SFA, C18:3 n-3, total polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and decreased milk MUFA proportions.
