The nutritional value of dried cage poultry excreta (DCPE) as a substitute for corn in broiler ration was investigated. Five different treatment rations were formulated containing 0%, 5%, 10% and 20% DCPE as a substitute for corn by weight. One thousand two hundred day-old white Plymouth Rock chicks were used for the study. Data on body weight gain, feed consumption and mortality were recorded until the broilers reached the age of 12 weeks. The results of this experiment indicated that DCPE could be used as a substitute for corn by weight up to 10% without affecting body weight gain and feed efficiency.
