Four humdred , nd fifty (450) calving records of three Genetic groups, pure Fogera (2?.7), 50% Grosses (196) and 75% Friesian X Fogra crosses (27) were analyzed for reproductive performance. Age at first calving for Fogra 50% and 75% Friesion X Fogra crosses were 38.8 ± 2, 35.3 ± 1 and 39.1 ± 2 months, respectively, while the mean calving intervals were 474 ± 10, 13, 031 ± 35 days for the three breeds, respectively. The overall mean of calving intervals were 474 ± 10, 421 ± 13, 651 ± 35 days for the three breeds, respectively. The overall mean of calving interval was 509 ± 15 days which was equivalent to an annual calving percentage of 70. 7%. Number of services per conception (NSC) were 1.41 ± 0.11, 1.37 + 0.14 and 1.89 ± 0.24; while gestation length values were 28 ± 1, 279 ± 1, 282 ± 2 days for Fogera, 50% and 75% Friesian-Fogera crosses, respectively. Days open varied from 151 ± 13 (50% crosses) to 361 + 35 days (75% crosses). Gestation length was affected by breed of sire but not by breed of cow. Year of calving (period) affected both calving interval and pubertal age while season (month of calving) had no significant (P0.05) effect. Conception patterns however were seasonally influenced; peak ovarian activity occurred during the dry and small rainy seasons (61%). Among the three genetic groups, the 50% crosses were superior in all reproductive traits considered.
