Considering the limitation in importing new rapeseed genotypes and unavailable world germplasm recently. The best way to solve this problem is create genetic variation through making crosses between rapeseed varieties, lines and even hybrids. Present investigation carried out to develop genetic variation and crate varieties suitable for rainfed condition and transfer shattering resistance from B. juncea to B. napus. This study carried out during two years. The first year was crossing blocks and second was evaluation of F1 and parents. Crosses made in plastic house as well as research field. Some of crosses had less seed so, they were planted in pots. The BC2 and BC4 seeds planted each in 2 rows with 3 meter length and 30 cm row spaceing or planted in pods on the bases of number of seeds . The results of first year showed that crosses were successful so that, enough seeds prduced. The results of second year showed that the most of hybrids were heterotic and showed heterobetttrosis. The superior hybrids selected and through selfing by paper bags to produce F2 generation. These materials will planted in Gachsaran Dryland Agricultural Research Station in next year. Evaluation of backcrosses (4th generation) and male parents showed that the backcross Regent× Bard-1 ×Regent4 had the highest seed yield (267.67 g/plot).
