Hatchability improvement of geese by different incubation methods
2009
Fani , A
In this study collected 3200 eggs of native geese from different regions of north of Azarbaijan provenience in order to investigate the best degree of turning, position of eggs in rocks and the temperature in setter and hatchery. These eggs have been hatch in four parties. Three main factors have considered in this experiment consist of , temperature in two levels (37.8 C' and 37 C'), degree of turning in two levels (180 and 90 degree) and position of eggs in rocks (horizontal and vertical) . The randomized complete block design with factorial statistical method has used for analyzing data. The results indicate that at temperature of 37.8 C' in setter and hatchery, turning eggs] 80 degree in rocks and the eggs location in horizontal position in rocks have the best hatchability and the least mortality in setter and hatchery and this condition has significant different as compare to the others.
