إنجليزي. Dissertation is dedicated to spectroscopic diagnostics of high-frequency low-temperature gas-discharge electrodeless plasma. Argon, helium and hydrogen containing plasmas are studied. Within the framework of PhD thesis, measurements of number densities of He 23S1, 21S0, 23P0,1,2, and 21P1 levels in high-frequency electrodeless lamps (HFEDL) were performed for the first time. From analysis of the experimental results, it was concluded, that for the precise determination of number densities, it is necessary to take into account the finestructure of the spectral line. For accurate estimation of populations of higher excited levels, it is required to perform analysis of plasma processes, and to use in measurements as many spectral lines as possible. For determination of number densities of Ar 3s23p54s levels in argon-hydrogen microwave plasma, for the first time Ar HFEDL was used. The measurement results showed that using the HFEDL in absorption method ensures much higher precision and sensitivity. Within the framework of these theses, for the first time plasma temperature of HFEDLs was determined using intensity distribution in rotational spectra of hydrogen molecule and hydroxyl radical. The results of both methods agree well with the values obtained from the widely used and approbated method of temperature determination from Doppler broadening of the spectral line. Measurement results show that OH rotational spectra can be successfully used for the high-frequency electrodeless plasma temperature estimation at very small amounts of hydrogen present in plasma, even if spectra of molecular hydrogen cannot be registered. From analysis of the measurement results and processes in argon-hydrogen microwave and high-frequency electrodeless plasmas, it was concluded that hydrogen molecule strongly quenches metastable and resonant levels of argon and decreases plasma temperature very effectively.

لاتفيا. Darbs veltīts augstfrekvences zemtemperatūras bezelektrodu gāzu izlādes plazmas spektroskopiskai diagnostikai. Darbā aplūkotas argonu, hēliju un ūdeņradi saturošas plazmas. Pielietojot klasiskās spektroskopijas metodes (reabsorbcijas un absorbcijas), darba ietvaros pirmo reizi ir veikti hēlija 23S1, 21S0, 23P0,1,2 un 21P1 līmeņu apdzīvotību mērījumi augstfrekvences bezelektrodu lampās (ABL). Hēlija ierosināto līmeņu apdzīvotību mērījumos ņemta vērā arī spektrāllīniju struktūras ietekme. Analizējot eksperimentālos rezultātus, konstatēts, ka precīzai apdzīvotību noteikšanai nepieciešams ņemt vērā spektrālo līniju sīkstruktūru. Lai pareizi novērtētu augstāku līmeņu apdzīvotības, nepieciešams veikt procesu analīzi, kā arī mērījumos jāizmanto pēc iespējas vairāk līnijas. Argona 3s23p54s līmeņu apdzīvotību noteikšanai argona-ūdeņraža mikroviļņu plazmā pirmo reizi tika izmantota Ar ABL. Mērījumu rezultāti parādīja, ka, izmantojot absorbcijas metodē ABL, var panākt augstāku jūtību un precizitāti. Promocijas darba ietvaros pirmo reizi ABL plazmas temperatūra tika noteikta, izmantojot ūdeņraža un hidroksilradikāļa rotācijas joslu intensitāšu sadalījumus. Metožu rezultāti labi sakrīt ar jau labi pārbaudītu un plaši izmantotu metodi, kurā temperatūru nosaka no spektrāllīnijas Doplera platuma. Mērījumu rezultāti parāda, ka OH joslas var veiksmīgi izmantot ABL plazmas temperatūras noteikšanai pie ļoti nelieliem ūdeņraža daudzumiem plazmā, arī tad, ja ūdeņraža molekulārās joslas nevar novērot. Analizējot procesus un mērījumu rezultātus argona-ūdeņraža mikroviļņu un ABL plazmās, var secināt, ka ūdeņraža molekulas spēcīgi dzēš argona metastabilos un rezonanses līmeņus un ļoti efektīvi dzesē plazmu.
