Study the problems faced by social organizers in providing extension services to the farmers at Shahdadkot district of Sindh province

This study was planned to find out the perceptions and problems faced by social organizers in providing extension services. About 46% and 36% respondents belonged to middle and young age categories respectively, only 16.60% of the respondents were found to be old. It may imply that the old social organizers were less likely to be engaged in community developed than those with higher age. About 29% and 26% of the respondents had the education up-to infer level and above M.A and M.Sc level respectively. While only 18.33% and 25.50% respondents had education up to M.A. and M.Sc and above B.A. and B.Sc. levels respectively. 55% respondents had annual net income less than Rs.50,000. While 37.5% respondents had the annual net income up to Rs.2,00,000. Only 7.5% respondents had annual net income above Rs.2,00,000. A small number (13.33%) of respondents had very small (1-3) family size, while 45.83% had small (4-6) family size.
