Effect of different sowing dates on physiochemical attributes of haloon (Lepidium sativum L.) and isabgol (Plantago ovata Forssk)
2007
Bashir, A.
A field experiment was carried out to asses the effect of different sowing dates of two medicinal plants that is isabgol (Plantago ovata) and haloon (Lepidium sativum) in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replicates and three sowing dates that is 5 Sep 25 Sep and 5 Oct Moisture content of isabgol and haloon significantly increased by increasing in normal sowing that is 15 September and decreased in delay sowing that is 25 Sep and 5 Oct. K+ concentration of isabgol and haloon significantly increased by increasing in normal sowing that is 15 September and decreased in delay sowing. Na+ concentration of isabgol significantly increased by increasing in normal sowing that is 15 September and decreased in delay sowing. Net free energy of isabgol significantly increased by increasing in normal sowing that is 15 September and decreased in delay sowing that is 25 Sep and 5 Oct. Nitrogen content of isabgol and haloon significantly increased by increasing in normal sow
