This thesis covers research results of soybean fields in 2006, 2007 and 2008. The objective was to determine the effect of soybean seed inoculation with microbiological fertilizer and seed treatment with cobalt and molybdenum, as well as the effect of previous crop fertilization with different doses of nitrogen on yield and characteristics of soybean grain. Grain yield depended on previous crop fertilization with nitrogen. Significantly higher grain yield was reached with the highest dose of applied nitrogen (250 kg N/ha + harvest residues). There was no effect of seed treatment with cobalt and molybdenum in grain yield. Increase of applied nitrogen doses was followed by significant protein content increase of soybean grain. Effect of nitrogen previous crop fertilization on protein was from 0.16 to 4.48%. Cobalt and molybdenum application was followed by significantly negative effect on soybean grain protein content. By increasing of applied nitrogen doses, oil content of soybean grain was significantly decreasing. Effect of oil content decrease was from 0.90 to 3.52%. Oil content of soybean grain depended (p is less than 0.01) on cobalt and molybdenum application, because the oil content was 1.77% higher according to control. High negative correlation was determined between oil and protein content of soybean grain. Applying 250 kg N/ha in maize (used as previous crop) fertilizing, with harvest residues ploughing, the highest grain yield per hectare was reached (3519 kg), with optimum protein content of soybean grain (38.61 %).
