The property of clay materials for chaning alternative cations by other cations is used in order to obtain copper-clay preparations. In this purpose, clay was previously activated by 0.5 M CuO4 solution in order to obtain homoionic-active clay. After the treatment, the suspension was centrifuged, dried, and the preparation was ready for the experiments. The obtained preparation was tested, in a vegetative way, on peas, and it was concluded that it can completely change similar, but more expensive preparations on the local market.
