Gypsy moth (Lymantria dispar L.) belongs to the group of the economic most important forest and orchard pests. The aim of experiment has been to confirm effect of some insecticides, indoxacarb (Avaunt), pyretrin (Pyros), azadirachtin (Neem Azal) and Bacillus thuringiensis (Cristal) in control different stages of larvae gypsy moth. Insecticide has been used in proposed concentrations (Avaunt 0.02%, Pyros 0.08%, Cristal 0.01% and Neem Azal 0.05%), and all with a little or without side effects on beneficial insects. Obtained result indicates that use of insecticide in control of different larval stages of gypsy moth detect statistically significant effects. Differences in effect not detect in use of pyretrin. In application of indoxacarba, we record high level of efficiency, but biological effect is statistically significant on different stages of caterpillars. Statistically significant effect in application of Bacillus thuringiensis and azadirachtin not record, but both have high efficiency in control of youngest larvae.
